How much does a Cockapoo cost in Colombia?
By Casa Trufa ·
In October 2026 very few Cockapoos are advertised in Colombia: a breeder in Antioquia publishes between COP 3,500,000 and COP 5,000,000, and MercadoLibre shows ads from COP 8,500,000 to COP 10,500,000. These are third-party figures. With so few breeders, a waiting list is the norm.
What are people asking for a Cockapoo in Colombia today?
This is what others publish. We read it on October 7, 2026 and left each figure with its source so you can check it.

Why does the price of a Cockapoo vary so much?
- Almost nobody breeds it
- It is a cross that almost nobody in the country breeds with care. With two or three sources, the “market price” is little more than a reference.
- The parents’ tests
- Hip dysplasia, PRA, FN (familial nephropathy of the Cocker) and an eye exam. They are what separates a well-planned cross from an improvised one.
- The size of the Poodle parent
- It determines the size of the puppy and is often used to raise the price of the smallest ones. Nobody can guarantee it.
- The waiting time
- A serious waiting list does not charge to “hold” a puppy that has not been born without explaining in writing what happens to that money.
Which health tests should the parents have?
- Hip dysplasia
- PRA (progressive retinal atrophy)
- FN (familial nephropathy)
- Eye exam
Each with a date, a laboratory or clinic, and a document. Our parent dogs’ results are published in Meet the parents.
What should be included, whatever the price?
- A vaccination record with the doses due for its age, signed by a veterinarian.
- Internal and external parasite treatment up to date.
- A recent veterinary health certificate.
- A written contract, with the terms of the legal guarantee (Colombia’s Law 1480 of 2011).
- Both parents’ health tests, with date, laboratory and document.
- A stated handover age: at Casa Trufa, never before eight weeks.
- Support after the puppy goes home.
What are the warning signs in an ad for a Cockapoo?
- “Cockapoo with pedigree”: it is a cross and has none.
- Deposits for a future litter without a contract.
- A guaranteed adult size.
- A figure far below those in the table. In July 2026 Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office (Fiscalía) warned that a price far below the market is the first sign of an online pet scam.
And after the puppy?
The puppy is the small expense. As a rough guide, the business press puts the cost of keeping a dog in Colombia at between COP 2,400,000 and COP 5,000,000 a year; we read the figure in the search engine’s summary. Food, parasite treatments and medication are calculated per kilo, so factor in the breed’s adult weight.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there so few Cockapoos in Colombia?
Because it is a recent cross in the country and it means keeping parent dogs of two different breeds, each with its tests. Whoever breeds it with care has few litters and, as a result, a waiting list.
How does a serious waiting list work?
They explain in writing how places are assigned, what happens if the litter is smaller than expected and what happens to any money handed over. They do not rush you. At Casa Trufa, joining the list starts with a conversation on WhatsApp, not with a payment.
How much does a Casa Trufa Cockapoo cost?
Casa Trufa does not publish a fixed figure: every litter is different, and we tell you on WhatsApp, with everything it includes.
