A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser. Here we explain which ones this website uses and which ones are not switched on without your permission.
Technical: always on
These are the ones the website needs to work; they are not used to identify you or to follow you.
- Your choice about cookies, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
- The campaign you arrived from (
utmparameters), kept only while the tab is open, so we know which ad or link a click on “Request information” comes from. - That you closed the language notice (
casatrufa:aviso-idioma), a flag kept in your browser’s local storage so the notice is not shown to you again; it is a strictly functional preference and contains no personal data. - The Casa Trufa team session, only when someone from the kennel signs in to edit the website.
Analytics: only with your consent
If you accept the “Analytics” category, we measure how the website is used so we can improve it: which pages are visited, how far people scroll, what they click on. Nothing you type in any field is collected, and the measurement respects your browser’s “Do Not Track” (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: if you have them switched on, nothing is measured.
If the kennel sets up third-party measurement tools — Google Analytics, for example — they are loaded only within this same category and never before you accept it.
Advertising tools — the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags — depend on another category, “Marketing”, which is accepted or rejected separately. When Google’s tags arrive together in a single container (Google Tag Manager), the website tells Google what you have authorized and what you have not, and each tag respects it: without “Marketing”, no advertising cookies are saved and no data is sent for ads; without “Analytics”, no measurement cookies are saved.
Session recording: separate, and off to begin with
Session recording saves how the website looked during your visit — movement, clicks and scrolling — so we can find what is confusing. Anything you type in a field is hidden in your browser before it is sent; a recording lasts at most five minutes per visit and is kept on our server.
It is not switched on when you press “Accept”: it only records if you turn it on yourself, separately, under “Settings” or under “Cookie preferences”, at the foot of any page.
How long it is kept
Analytics data, recordings and click records are deleted after ninety (90) days.
How to change your choice
You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie notice and change your mind whenever you like. You can also delete cookies from your browser’s settings; if you do, the website will ask you again.
