Casa Trufa

Our commitments

Trust is not claimed: it is shown. This is what we commit to doing, in writing, so that you can hold us to it.

To our dogs

  • A few litters a year. We do not breed for volume. Each litter is planned well ahead.
  • The mothers rest between one litter and the next.
  • They raise their puppies at home, among us, not in separate facilities.
  • Published health tests. Those of each parent dog, with the result, the date and the document. What has not been done is not made up.

To every puppy

  • Socialization from the third week: sounds, surfaces, people and family routine.
  • A trusted veterinarian for every litter.
  • Never before eight weeks. No puppy leaves home earlier.
  • Never in a public space and never alone by parcel service. How a puppy is handed over is in the delivery policy.

To every family

  • We tell you the truth, also when it is “no”. If we believe that one breed — or none of ours — fits your life, we will tell you. It is part of our work.
  • No rush and no pressure. The only scarcity here is real: we raise a few litters a year. Each puppy goes to the family on the waiting list that most closely fits its temperament.
  • Everything in plain view. You can get to know the house and the parents, and ask for the original of any test.
  • Follow-up after the handover: questions about settling in, feeding and training, for the whole of the dog’s life.

To the law

Colombia’s Law 1774 of 2016 protects animals as sentient beings; the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) protects whoever receives a puppy, and Law 1581 of 2012 protects your data. How we comply with them is in the legal notice, the guarantee policy and the privacy policy.
